About Us

Night view of Elks Lodge with illuminated signage.

The Cadillac Elks Lodge has held its ground on S. Mitchell Street for over a century, and the building itself tells you something the moment you walk in. The historic clubroom carries the weight of generations, from the woodwork to the bar, and somehow it feels both timeless and alive. Members who joined decades ago still show up alongside newer faces, and that continuity is the whole point.

This lodge earned its 4.9-star reputation the hard way, through real action in the community. That means college scholarships for local students, highway adoption and cleanup days, memorial services handled with genuine care, and a calendar of events that keeps members connected year-round. When a family needed a dignified space to honor a loved one, the Elks delivered. When students needed financial support to chase a degree, the Elks wrote the check.

Cadillac has grown and changed around this building since 1911, but the lodge has kept pace. Prompt, friendly service. Excellent food and drink. A membership that actually means something. If you are looking for more than a place to sit, this is where Cadillac's civic backbone has met for over a hundred years.

What We Offer

The lodge offers members a full-service clubroom with quality food, drinks, and the kind of unhurried atmosphere that is hard to find anywhere else in town. Events range from casual member nights to formally organized gatherings, and the space adapts well to both.

Beyond the clubroom, the Elks operate a robust community giving program. Scholarship applications open annually for area college students. The lodge participates in Earth Day highway cleanup and other civic initiatives throughout the year. Private events including memorial services, celebrations, and lodge-sponsored functions can be arranged through membership.

Membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks also connects you to a national network of lodges, benefits, and charitable programs, while keeping your roots firmly planted here in northern Michigan.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
